Every Wednesday and Saturday from 11 March to 11 November there is a bus transfer from Munich central bus station (ZOB) to Merano, Lagundo, Tirolo, Naturno e Partcines/Rablà/Tel. There is also a shuttle service to the accommodation and back.
Reach Algund by Flixbus
The FlixBus companies make their buses stop in Merano/Meran, Lana and Marlengo/Marling. FlixBus offer year-round bus connections from every European country. Via the transport node points Munich and Verona, FlixBus travels to South Tyrol several times a day.
Südtirol-Express
Your bus connection from Switzerland to Merano.
Every Saturday from April to October.
For a journey from Switzerland, the Südtirol Express offers in 2024 a bus trip every Saturday from April 6th to October 26th from St. Gallen, Wängi, Winterthur, Zurich and Landquart including a shuttle service directly to your accommodation in Naturns, Lagundo, Merano, Schenna, Dorf Tirol, Avelengo, Lana, Marling and Partschins and back. In a modern and comfortable coach, you can travel comfortably and directly to your accommodation without having to lug your suitcase. Children under 6 years of age travel for free and young people up to 14 years of age for half the price. It is also possible to take your own bike with you.

Travelling by train means getting on board and leaning back in the chair, while enjoying the landscapes passing by or while reading a book.
Positioned in the heart of Europe, South Tyrol has a good train network, with connecting trains from Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), as well as Deutsche Bahn (DB).
Once in South Tyrol, DB/ÖBB train travellers can use the ‘Anschlussticket Südtirol’, a ticket that allows travelling with public transportation to get from the train station to their accommodation and vice versa on their day of arrival/departure. This ticket can be purchased directly on the train or at the DB travel centres located at the train stations.
South Tyrol’s regional airport Bolzano Dolomites is located in South Tyrol’s capital Bolzano, about 30 minutes drive from the garden village Algund. SkyAlps flies weekly from London Gatwick, Brussels, Copenhagen and Rotterdam directly to Bolzano. Taxi ranks are located both directly in front of the Bolzano train station and at the airport terminal.

Besides the Bozen Dolomiten regional airport in Bolzano, the nearest airports are Innsbruck (approx. 2 hours drive away), Verona (approx. 2 hours), Bergamo (approx. 3 hours), Venice (approx. 3.25 hours), Bologna (approx. 3.25 hours), Milan (approx. 3.5 hours), Treviso (approx. 3 hours) as well as Munich (approx. 4 hours) and Salzburg (approx. 4 hours).
The connection to the airports is guaranteed by shuttle connections to the respective railway stations and by the trains of the Italian state railways, DB and ÖBB to South Tyrol.
